Cookie Notice
Effective date: July 12, 2026
1. Purpose of this notice
Home RedFlags, a service run by EcoSi (“we”, “us”), relies on a small amount of browser storage — cookies and local storage — to operate https://homeredflags.ecosi.global (the “Site”). This notice lists exactly what is stored and why. Read it alongside the Privacy Policy.
Your browser holds two kinds of small records on a site’s behalf: cookies, which are brief text entries, and local storage, which retains settings from one visit to the next. They exist so a site can function and so your choices persist.
2. The short list
Our footprint is deliberately narrow. On the Site you will find:
- Essential identifiers. Tokens for your session and your order. They are what moves you through checkout, opens a purchased screening, and keeps it reachable once the browser has closed. Remove them and the Site stops functioning.
- One preference flag. One value in local storage, noting that the cookie banner has been dismissed — which is why it does not come back.
- Aggregate analytics. Pooled usage figures that inform improvements — how often pages are opened, how many address checks reach the end. Any analytics in operation shows us aggregates only, and advertising profiles are never assembled from them.
By design there are no advertising cookies here, no cross-site tracking pixels, no social-media trackers. Personal information is neither sold nor shared for cross-context behavioral advertising within the meaning of California’s Consumer Privacy Act as amended (CCPA/CPRA).
3. Controls in your hands
- Your browser. Browser settings let you refuse or clear cookies at any time. One caveat: strip out the essential tokens and neither checkout nor access to a purchased screening will work.
- The banner.Dismissing the banner stores your acknowledgement and nothing more. Deleting the Site’s data for https://homeredflags.ecosi.global in your browser clears it whenever you like.
- Global Privacy Control. A GPC signal asks us to stop selling or sharing personal information — and since neither happens here, the request is already satisfied. We respect what the signal stands for all the same.
4. Cookies set by others
The payment provider, once card checkout is live, will use cookies of its own on the checkout pages it hosts — fraud prevention and secure transaction handling require them. For those, the provider’s notices apply. Full card details never reach or rest on our systems.
5. US state rights
Comprehensive privacy laws in California and a growing set of other states grant rights over personal information: to know it, to correct it, to have it deleted. How to invoke each one is set out in the Privacy Policy.
6. Keeping this current
As the Site changes, this notice will change with it; the effective date above always marks the version in force. Anything unclear — write to info@ecosi.global.
